XTAR VC8S • 8-Bay Smart USB-C Charger with QC3.0 / PD Fast Charging
The XTAR VC8S is a professional-grade 8-slot smart charger designed for Li-ion/IMR/INR,
LiFePO4 and Ni-MH/Ni-Cd cells. It features an upgraded USB-C input supporting QC3.0 and
PD fast-charging protocols, allowing up to 3A per slot (2 slots) or 2A per slot (4 slots) or
1A across all eight slots.
The large backlit LCD provides detailed readouts for voltage, current, capacity, and internal resistance.
Advanced charging intelligence
The VC8S automatically identifies cell chemistry and voltage, applying the correct charging algorithm.
It supports Li-ion 4.20V, LiFePO4 3.65V, and Ni-MH/Ni-Cd 1.48V chemistries,
and uses CC/CV or ΔV/dt termination as appropriate.
Each slot operates independently, displaying per-cell data including voltage, current, mAh, time, and internal resistance.
With XTAR’s “Grading” and “Storage” functions, users can test battery capacity and prepare Li-ion cells for long-term storage.
The charger includes reverse-polarity, over-charge, short-circuit, and thermal protection for safe, reliable operation.

Never leave charging batteries completely unattended.Product-specific notes: To achieve maximum charging performance (up to 3A × 4 slots or 2A × 8 slots), use a QC3.0 or PD power supply rated 18W or higher.
Lower-power adapters will limit total current. Extra-long protected 21700 cells may be a tight fit.
